President Trump has said he'll keep trying to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, but meanwhile the Administration must continue to operate the program. The Supreme Court ruled against the Administration on June 18, declaring that it can't dismantle the program, which confers temporary legal status on certain young undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children.
The Court ruled only on the approach the Administration pursued in its attempt to end the program, not on the legality of the DACA program itself.
