The Kennedy Center received $25 million, which helped it offset lost ticket revenue and rescind an already-announced furlough of musicians as part of an overall labor settlement. "This economic relief will save jobs and ensure jobs for our furloughed staff to come back to once the pandemic subsides and we are able to reopen for business," the organization said, explaining that $20 million of the funding would cover payroll and benefits costs, with the remainder covering artists' fees, cleaning and various administrative expenses.
