The Biden Cancer Initiative, a nonprofit founded by the former Vice President, reported to the Internal Revenue Service total expenses over two years of operations of $4,791,567. Sixty-five percent, or $3,070,301, covered salaries and other compensation-related expenses.
Biden launched the organization in 2017 after leaving office and left its board after he launched his campaign in April 2019. The foundation suspended operations in July.
