Herring founder Robert Herring Sr. has been a consistent contributor to Republican candidates and causes in recent years.
Media Bias/Fact Check, which rates media based on bias and reporting quality, rates One America News Network as "extreme" on the right side of U.S. political views. AllSides, another rating site, classes its coverage as "lean right."
Its coverage has embraced President Trump's popularity with right-leaning audiences, beginning with a 2015 interview of the then-candidate by former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
