NO

A post on social media claims that California had banned travel to Florida, sarcastically congratulating the latter.

While California did ban state-sponsored travel to Florida due to Florida's policies against LGBTQ individuals, that ban does not extend to private travel.

Florida's Senate Bill 1028 prevents transgender women and girls from participating in school sports consistent with their gender identity.

California also restricts state-funded travel to 16 other states that discriminate against LGBTQ residents.

California allows government travel to the 17 banned states for seven exceptions, such as litigation.
